Staverton was established as a specialist joinery company in 1928 and by the 1980s was manufacturing contemporary furniture ranges to the same high standards as its fully bespoke designs. By the late 1990s, Staverton had become a leading design-led UK office furniture manufacturer with significant recognition within the A&D community. In 2002, Logic Office Group acquired the Staverton brand. The company then commissioned designers Seymour Powell Foresight to conduct extensive research into the office market and to provide initial conceptual designs for the next generation of office furniture. At Design Prima 2006, the Staverton brand was launched introducing new and innovative product ranges.
